The architecture of the Noventa di Piave Outlet draws its inspiration from traditional local architecture and, in particular, from the forms and proportions of the Palladian style and the monumental grace and elegance of the palazzos of Venice and Treviso.
This translates to a complex of choices that reinterpret the architectural history of the area in a modern key.
The buildings are laid out along streets, plazas and squares, some of which lined with porticos, others embellished with spires and turrets. The entrance gates to the Designer Outlet consist of tall structures acting as references points for visitors, whereas the outdoor spaces are set off by trees and fountains.
Particular attention has been paid to the porticos, which lend stateliness to the buildings in addition to creating visual dynamism and variety.
The portico is not just an aesthetic choice, it also plays a fundamental functional role, minimising inconvenience to visitors in the event of bad weather.
The construction of the Centre will use both traditional materials, such as terracotta roof tiles, stone wainscoting and plaster painted in appropriate colours for the facades, which will in turn be adorned with decorative references, and innovative techniques and products, which not only optimise the structure in terms of building logistics, but also offer a significant reduction in energy and maintenance expenditure.
